French automaker DS has come up with a creative way to congratulate the son of racing driver Jean-Éric Vergne on his birthday: the boy received a replica of the car his father drives in the Formula E.
The replica imitates the design of the DS 4 E-Tense racer (see video) up to the grey exterior and the single seat wrapped in suede with golden stitching. The steering wheel is trimmed with leather, and the dashboard looks like something out of the latest DS cars.
How fast the toy car can go is determined solely by how fast you can move your legs, as there is no drivetrain inside.
