Electronic Arts shared a trailer announcing its latest rally sim, EA Sports WRC. The developer promises ultimate realism and immersion, numerous reproductions of real-life rally cars and over 600 kilometers of roads and tracks of various configurations.
The game runs on Unreal Engine and uses the same physics engine as DiRT Rally. Players will be choosing from the 18 official WRC tracks and a number of surfaces including snow, gravel, dirt and asphalt.
The vehicle fleet will consist of 10 modern-era rally cars and 68 older rarities. A special mode will be provided for building your own racer, too.
EA claims it consulted professional rally drivers to achieve maximum realism. Beginning players can set up the controls according to their skill level for an easier start. A multiplayer mode for up to 32 players is included as well, and the game supports VR headsets and ultrawide displays.
The release date is set on November 3, 2023.
