President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey has officially received the fist all-electric vehicle assembled in his home country, a Togg EV.
Representatives of the manufacturing company let the politician choose between a blue car and a red one. Erdoğan, who attended the presentation event with his spouse, opted for the blue one.
Ilham Heydar oghlu Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, will be the second person to get a Togg battery car. The Togg Company reportedly launched production in 2022, but the mass market has yet to see the first vehicles on sale.
In fact, it remains unknown what the proper full name of the car is. The manufacturer’s website calls it simply the ‘Togg-C SUV’. The pricing starts in the region of 1,000,000 Turkish lira (~52,000 USD).
