The Dakar Rally is one of the world’s most challenging and demanding rally raids, and you generally wouldn’t expect a truck that has gone through it to be converted into a motorhome. Nonetheless, you have just such an example before you.
The vehicle was originally used by the KTM and Orlen teams as a mobile repair station. It was outfitted with all kinds of upgrades to be capable of going off the track and now makes a very versatile camper.
Amenities on board include four beds, solar panels, water tanks, shower and WC, a stove with three burners, two fridges, and spare diesel fuel canisters. There is even an outdoor kebab set included for picnics.
As interesting as the Dakar build is, it is actually not the only one out there. Watch the video for another example.
