Exeed Exlantix EV shows up on official terms

Automaker Exeed has confirmed that its first all-electric sedan would be called ‘Exlantix’, along with posting a handful of camouflaged pics.

Per the manufacturer, the graphic wrap is a metaphor for the battery-powered nature of the car. The honeycomb ornament corresponds to the pattern of the radiator grille. As for the car itself, it is based on the prototype formerly known as the Exeed E03 and is already far into its road-testing stage.

As you can see by comparing the first two images with the prototype spy shots found farther down the gallery here, the final production car is different. The front air intakes and upper light bar in particular are new.

In all likelihood, the premiere will be held in Shanghai in a few days. Rumor has it the Exeed Exlantix will offer up to 650 km (404 miles) of range in its longest-range version.
