As evidenced by the latest spy shot seen here, Exeed has begun road-testing the facelift version of its LX SUV.
The image provides a frontal view of a camouflaged car. Images submitted earlier to the Chinese Ministry of Industry (found further in our gallery) make it clear that the radiator grille has a diamond pattern now instead of horizontal bars.
The interior is expected to change quite a bit thanks to a steering wheel borrowed from the Exeed AtlantiX concept and a dashboard inspired by the Omoda C5. The center console also looks redesigned in earlier spy shots.
For the engine, you can pick the 1.6-liter turbo option and get 201 PS (198 hp / 148 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque, a slight improvement over the 197 PS (194 hp / 144 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) from before. Another option comes in the shape of a 2.0-liter turbo mill boosted to 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW).
The pre-facelift Exeed LX (see video) is strictly a front-wheel-drive SUV, but we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the update adds AWD as a paid option.
