Chery sub-brand Exeed will be refreshing its LX SUV lineup with a new engine, higher-end infotainment hardware and a plethora of other options.
The Lion 5.0 infotainment unit is already shipping with the facelifted Chery Tiggo 7 Plus. Running on the Qualcomm 8155 chipset, it uses two displays with a joint diagonal size of 24.6 inches.
The steering wheel is also new, squared off from below and devoid of physical buttons (there might be touch panels on the spokes, though). The sport seats inside come with heating, ventilation and memory functions. The equipment list mentions a Sony audio system and a powerful wireless gadget charger.
The 2023 Exeed LX sports some visual improvements compared to its predecessor (see video). For instance, there is a new front bumper with LEDs and a different radiator grille. Powering the wheels is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW).
