The Industry Ministry of China has published some detailed specs of the upcoming Exeed Sterra ET electric CUV, which will be exported under the Exlantix sub-brand. There will be four powertrains and three battery sizes to choose from.
The most basic version will get 252 PS (249 hp / 185 kW) and a 66-kWh battery from BYD, rated up to 550 km (342 miles). The next spec up the list gets a superior 313-PS (309-hp / 230-kW) motor and a 79.9-kWh battery from CATL. It can cover 650 km (404 miles) on a charge.
The next spec up the list upgrades from one to two motors and gets 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) of power, but the same CATL battery. As a result, it doesn’t exceed 550 km (342 mi) per charge.
Finally, the flagship Exlantix ET will pack 561 PS (553 hp / 413 kW) and a superior battery pack maxing out at 97.6 kilowatt-hours. It is rated at 655 km (646 hp / 482 kW).
As an alternative, the RWD version of the crossover can be optioned with the same battery for 760 km (472 miles) of range.
The Exlantix ET is five meters (16.4 feet) long and has 3 meters (9.84 feet) between the axles. It is slated to go on sale in China in early 2024, with the other markets following later.
