Photos of the upcoming Exeed Lingyun S crossover for China have leaked online ahead of the premiere along with an official announcement of specs. The car otherwise known as the Exeed TXL will sport new design features and benefit from a powerful two-liter turbo.
Compared to the stock Lingyun/TXL shown in the video here, the S variant will be getting black wheels, Sport badges on the doors, red brake calipers, black body kit parts instead of silver, and black protective trim. Window bezels all around will remain chrome-coated, however.
Interior highlights will include a dash panel wrapped in artificial suede, doors and seats with the same trim, orange accents, contrast stitching, and a caption reading “Super Power” in front of the passenger seat.
The 2.0T engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and churns out 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW) along with 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Going from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 6.6 seconds.
