The Exeed TXL received its first planned update a couple of years ago (see video). The company has released a new model named RX since then, but decided not to ditch the outdated TXL – the crossover SUV has received another facelift instead.
The exterior stays nearly unchanged. Things get livelier in the cabin, which is now styled in the same vein as the RX with a new transmission tunnel, dashboard, steering wheel and door panels. The driver still gets two displays to look at, each one measuring 12.3 inches across.
Options include a 23-speaker audio system, contour-based ambient lighting and Nappa leather on the seats. The passenger’s seat can be reclined to form a day-bed of sorts.
The engine choices remain the same. You can still go with the standard four-cylinder engine rated at 197 PS (194 hp / 145 kW) or its version boosted to 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW).
