2023 Exeed VX reveals a cabin heavily inspired by Mercedes-Benz

Premium automaker Exeed has unveiled its facelifted VX model for China. Most notably, the crossover SUV received a giant front panel with built-in displays obviously styled after those Mercedes-Benz uses in its flagship cars. Per AutoHome, the sales will begin on April 8.

The company never specified the diagonal size, but the front touchscreen seems to occupy the entire space between the a-pillars. There is a digital gauge cluster, a head unit a separate screen for the front passenger and large air vents.

Hardware controls are barely present: the steering wheel has capacitive buttons on the spokes, and the center tunnel is now little more than an oversized glove compartment. The selector now resides under the wheel, and the seat power adjustments are found on the doors, like in the Chery Tiggo 9.

The seats themselves have been upgraded considerably with heating, ventilation and massage available for the front row. The middle row gets heating and ventilation, and the rear row can be automatically folded to get some extra trunk space. Aside from the standard seven-seater, buyers will be able to opt for a six-seat version.

Nothing has been said about the engines yet. As of right now, the Exeed VX is available on its domestic market with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine linked to a seven-speed DCT. All-wheel drive is a paid option, and the output amounts to 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW).
