2025 Exeed VX teased ahead of Sunday premiere

The refreshed Exeed VX crossover will hit the spotlight in China this Sunday, February 23.

Plug-in hybrid will be the first powertrain to debut and go on sale, the company says. It will utilize the C-DM powertrain announced in the spring of 2023, which combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with two electric motors and a 34.5-kWh battery.

The engine produces 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW). We don’t know yet how much the motors output, but we are told that the combined torque of the system comes to 920 Nm (679 lb-ft). Once fully charged with a full gas tank, the new VX will be able to cover up to 1,300 km (808 miles) before needing a refill.

Based on the images posted thus far, the facelift will largely change the rear end styling while leaving everything else more or less intact. You can compare for yourself with the pre-facelift version in the video here.
