As you may remember, Chinese corporation BYD launched a new electric car sub-brand called Fang Cheng Bao this summer. Barely any time has passed, and the brand is getting ready to release its third production car. Named simply the Bao 3, it is set to go on sale next year. In the meantime, here are some spy pics.
The images are posted by Car News China and include a single photo of a cladded prototype and two photos of camo-free test cars. You can check out them out in the gallery here to get a good idea of the design. It looks like the new Bao 3 will slot in just under the existing Bao 5 model (see video).
The SUV sports bulky-looking wheel arches and bumpers, a rather compact, rectangular front grille, tiered headlights, a panoramic roof and a two-piece spoiler.
According to rumors, we will be getting two electric motors to choose between, but no ICE options.
