The recently unveiled Ferrari 12Cilindri has shown that V12 engines may still have a future, against all expectations.
Furthermore, the prospects are looking good for the Italian company in this department. Speaking in a recent interview, Ferrari Marketing boss Emanuele Carando promised that the Maranello HQ would continue designing and producing new V12s until they become explicitly banned. He added that the company would sooner switch to using low-emission synthetic fuels than ditch twelve-pots.
