Ferrari has fulfilled the order of an anonymous client for an extreme vehicle stylized to resemble classical racecars from the 1960s. The P80/C Coupe is strictly a one-off creation, and goes without a publicly available price tag.
The Italian company has been building the car since 2015, making it the longest individual project of its kind.
The body of the Ferrari P80/C references such classical car designs as the Dino 206 S and the 330 P3/P4, among others. It sports a bulky rear wing, a low-seated front diffuser, large air intakes behind the doors, and a curved windshield reminiscent of a visor found on the racing driver’s helmet.
The two-door vehicle comes based on the Ferrari 488 GT3, but sports a slightly shortened wheelbase (1,969 mm / 6.5 ft., which is down 50 mm / 2 inches from the standard version). Powering it is a 3.9-liter V8 TT engine capable of delivering around 600 hp (447 kW) on the GT3, but likely boosted to around 670 hp (500 kW) on the custom car.
