Casil Motors announces a series of 30 Ferrari 328 restomods

Young car company Casil Motors used the last year’s SEMA show to introduce the world to its first major project: a series of restored and modernized Ferrari 328 vehicles called the BB3X8 FDP.

The company will limit the production scope to just 30 cars. It will accept both the Ferrari 328 GTB and the 328 GTS for customization, but still has to decide upon the pricing.

Each BB3X8 FDP gets custom wheels, air suspension, and a wide body kit made of Kevlar and carbon fiber. Customers are given a certain degree of freedom in dictating the configuration and contents of the kit.

The first specimen that you can see here sports an unusual grey paint, but you may customize that, too.

Among other things, Casil Motors plans to boost the stock 3.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 of the 328 to be at least as strong as that of the legendary Ferrari 288 GTO (400 hp / 298 kW). It hopes to achieve this goal by introducing independent throttle bodies along with a series of other improvements. It appears that turbochargers are not on the list, though.

Finally, the company can conduct a bespoke interior makeover using materials, colors, and patterns of your choice.
