Ferrari releases teaser vid of its super-hybrid mere hours ahead of premiere

It was only yesterday that Ferrari revealed some teaser pics of its upcoming hybrid supercar. The official reveal is going to happen in a matter of hours, but apparently the tension is not high enough for the Italian luxury carmaker, since it just released a teaser video dedicated to the same model.

The footage shows the new Ferrari flagship from a variety of angles. It offers a good view on the front fascia, complete with the headlights that are uniquely styled and different from anything else we have seen from the marque before. There is also a lingering shot of the vehicle’s rather pointed front and the aggressive-looking hood cover.

The teaser image from yesterday showed the rear part of the electrified sports coupe, with its four rectangular brake lights and dual tailpipes in the middle. On the whole, the design looked rather conservative, perhaps even retro.

Right now, the supercar goes by the provisional name of F173 and has no final market name assigned to it. It is expected to ship with a twin-turbo V8 engine assisted by a trio of electric motors for ~990 hp (740 kW) total output.
