Gooding & Company to sell an ultra-rare Ferrari Sergio for $2.5M+

Gooding & Company will be holding an auction at the Pebble Beach show dedicated to an extremely rare Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio. Only six cars were produced, each with its own distinctive livery and interior trim. Estimates place the price point at $2.5-3 million.

The two-door roadster is a production version of the Pininfarina Sergio Concept that debuted in 2013. It uses the same tech as the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta and came out in 2015, on Pininfarina’s 85th birthday, as a tribute to its original founder and owner.

Powering the Ferrari Sergio is a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine rated at 605 hp (451 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Mated to a 7-speed pre-selective DCT, it takes the sports vehicle from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat before maxing out at 330 km/h (205 mph).

Two years ago, one of the six vehicle was put up for sale with a U.S. $5,000,000 price tag attached, but without success.
