The 250 LM counts among Ferrari’s greatest classics ever made. Limited to just 32 units, it comes with a Colombo V12 engine installed within the wheelbase. One of these gorgeous cars will cross the Sotheby’s auction block during the Monterey Car Week.
The example for sale has chassis number 6053 and was the 22nd to roll off the belt. It comes with a rather full and well-documented record that mentions numerous racing events and quite a few victories, too.
The last time this particular 250 LM hit the racetrack was at the 1968 Le Mans marathon. It has never raced since. In 2018, its present owner purchased it and sent over to Ferrari for complete restoration and certification.
