About half a year after introducing a body kit for the Ferrari 296 GTB, the tuners over at Mansory switched their attention to the Spider version of the same car. It ended up with some badass-looking carbon-fiber trim and eye-catching bronze wheels.
The wheel model is not specified, but we think that their dual-five-spoke design looks right at home on a Ferrari. The spiral spoke pattern adds a dynamic to the exterior of the sports car which gets further emphasized by a custom front apron, side sill and wheel arch extensions, and a new rear diffuser. Aftermarket brake calipers finished to match the wheels round off the changes on the outside.
The cabin has black leather and artificial suede go along with bronze accents. Mansory badges are everywhere you look, and the paddle shifters fly the colors of Italy.
Powering the so-called Tempesta GTS Convertible is the same engine as its coupe counterpart from half a year ago. Mansory tunes it to 870 PS (858 hp / 640 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, letting the Spider hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds – one-tenth of a second faster than stock.
