The Japanese tuner team of Liberty Walk is well-known for its bold and over-the-top Lambo and Nissan body kit, much less for more reserved car styling. However, someone actually entrusted them with an iconic Ferrari 308 GTS – and the outcome is surprisingly elegant.
Aggressive black fender flares instantly tell the viewer that the car is not stock, and the signature red body emphasizes the weight of the flares. Matte-black aftermarket wheels fill out the arches thanks to an air suspension system.
However, things take a turn towards the subtle and understated from there onwards. Neither of the bumpers have been replaced; the front one has merely received a few neat carbon fiber details. A ducktail spoiler at the rear end rounded things off nicely. The cabin and the engine have stayed stock.
Liberty Walk did not specify whether the kit is a one-off commission or something you can pre-order, but, given that we saw a very similar kit at the Tokyo Auto Salon two years ago (watch the video), purchasing one should be possible by now.
