32-year-old, as-new Ferrari 328 GTS goes up for $0.2M+

This Pininfarina-tuned Ferrari 328 GTS has only ever been driven for 375 kilometers (233 miles) since 1989, and you can now try to obtain it if you have over $200,000 USD to bid.

The Italian coachbuilder endowed the sports car with a new Targa-like body, making a part of the roof removable. Inside, flooring is white while the dashboard, the door panels and the leather seats are black. There is no audio of any kind, but the windows are powered and the air conditioner was refilled last year.

Power comes from a just-maintained 3.2-liter V8 featuring mechanical injection and 270 PS (266 hp / 200 kW) at the output end. A five-speed manual gearbox drives the rear wheels, taking the car 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 5.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 267 km/h (166 mph).

The first owner of the car purchased it new in New York. In 2012, it went on to change hands, moved from one state to another and finally found a new home in the UK. Someone brought it back to the United States a couple of years ago. The seller offers the necessary documents, some tools and a full-body cover with the auction lot.

The original 328 GTS (see video) debuted 36 years ago as the successor to the Ferrari 308. A total of 7,412 units rolled off the band until 1989. A new car could be obtained for around $60,000 in the USA, which is a modern equivalent of $140,000 (adjusted for inflation).
