Feast your eyes on this remarkably well-restored Ferrari 330 GTC

British restorer Bell Sport & Classic has spent three years bringing a 56-year-old Ferrari 330 GTC back to life. The rare sports car had its body, cabin and drivetrain pretty much returned to factory condition.

When the team laid its hands on the car, it was blue after multiple resprays. The original documents revealed that the original finish was a subdued metallic green, Verde Chiaro Metallizato. The car was promptly reverted to this exact shade – but not before every panel was refurbished and cleaned of any possible signs of age.

The interior work was performed by O’Rourke Coachtrimmers and Suppliers. The whole cabin was wrapped in deer leather adorned with historically accurate stitching and patterns. The foam filler in the seats was replaced, but the original frames were allowed to remain.

Last but by no means least, the Colombo V12 under the hood was stripped down to the last screw, steam-blasted and overhauled. It was subsequently dyno-tested for two full days and road-tested over 500 miles (805 kilometers). The measured power output was around 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and the redline was at 7,000 RPM.

At a recent Concours d’Elégance in London, UK, the lovingly restored 330 GTC claimed the top prize.
