This wonderful 330 LMB replica is a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 in disguise

British tuner Bell Sport & Classic is no stranger to the latest car restoration trends. Its latest work looks very convincingly like the legendary Ferrari 330 Le Mans Berlinetta while being a simple 330 GT 2+2 Coupe at heart.

It is no wonder that the company picked this particular source of inspiration. A total of four such Berlinettas have been produced in total, only three entered the 1963 Le Mans endurance race, and only one made it to the finish line.

The tuner shortened the chassis and produced most of the body components from scratch. This included light housings, the glass dome, the Plexiglas partition inside, the dashboard and the door cards. It took Bell Sport & Classic three years to finish the job.

Powering the imitation racer is a Colombo V12 bored out from 3 to 4 liters of displacement and packing as many as six carburetors. The wheels get hit with 390 PS (385 hp / 287 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque, which more or less corresponds to the numbers the original car had. The manual transmission is up from four speeds to five.

Prices remain undiscussed, but the original vehicle might cost close to the iconic 250 GTO, which occasionally pops up on sale for eight-digit amounts.
