An eyebrow-raising video has cropped up on YouTube recently, showing a Ferrari 360 Modena kicking up dust on a rally track. But what seems to be one of Maranello’s finest is actually nothing more than a well-crafted replica.
Created by Ya-Car, Spain-based motocross and rally team, the custom vehicle boasts a space-frame chassis design and comes powered by dual Suzuki motorbike engines rated around 200 hp (150 kW) each. Perhaps the standard 3.6-liter Ferrari V8 proved too bulky, heavy, or downright expensive for the build.
Other notable features of the project include AWD, long suspension travel, and a custom exhaust system. Just why the team chose to stylize it after the Ferrari 360 remains unexplained, however.
