YouTuber Oldtimerfarm has shared a video story about a rare car collection that he dubbed ‘an epic barn find’. The Drive says no one had actually lost these cars in the first place – they had just stayed inside a closed parking lot in Brussels, Belgium for nearly a decade.
The author of the video is said to be a representative of one of the Belgian classic car dealerships who came to check on the collection and assist with selling it. There are 22 cars in total – 14 Ferraris and eight Porsches.
The German marque is largely represented by 911 models from different years. The Italian cars are much more diverse: there is a 550 Maranello in the mix, a 575M, an F512M, and even a yellow 365 GT4 BB – decidedly the priciest lot of the upcoming auction.
As a reminder, ‘BB’ stands for ‘Berlinetta Boxer’ in Maranello HQ language. The 365 GT4 BB was the supercar maker’s first street-legal car in history to feature a transaxle flat-12 engine. It was originally introduced in 1973. The manufacturing year of the example seen here is unknown, but the dealership manager reckons it could fetch around €650,000.
Classic.com adds that the average price of a Berlinetta Boxer these days comes close to U.S. $350,000. However, since Ferrari had only painted 10 examples in yellow throughout the entire production term, this one could sell for much more. It is also in remarkably well-preserved condition, with the seller claiming it is the world’s only known 365 GT4 BB to have survived to the present day in such a fine shape.
