The worldwide famous Italian automotive company Ferrari is working on its first all-electric supercar. This was revealed during the speech of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne at the Detroit International Motor Show a few days ago.
In order to increase sales and stay up-to-date with the modern market trends, he said, the company is going to supplement its car family with an all-electric car. Since the Ferrari brand uphold the values of exclusiveness and luxury, all such new cars will be no less agile and powerful than the best Ferrari engineers have done before.
On an interesting note, the Italian manufacturer named the Tesla Roadster their “No. 1 competitor”. We shall wait and see how these things will play out once the vehicle gets released in 2021.
