The Ferrari 458 is arguably enough of a dream ride to refrain from ever tuning it, but Liberty Walk can’t just leave well enough alone. The JDM tuner already has a tuning kit called Challenge in stock for the model, and now a new option is coming to the market called Silhouette.
The body kit is incredibly extensive, with its designer claiming not a single body panel of the original Ferrari stays untouched. It is also made completely out of carbon fiber. The front end with its new radiator grille, splitter and bumper-side canards is particularly impressive. The hood cover boasts active air vents for rapid hot air removal, the arches are reshaped, and the Prancing Horse logo is blacked-out to match the rest of the look.
A profile view reveals side sill extensions and lightweight door panels, as well as a host of smaller modifications such as new fender-mounted mirrors. The wheels use centerlocks for quick-release functionality on track, and the suspension is lowered on what must be air cushions.
Rounding off the track-focused tuning are a bulky rear diffuser and a menacing rear spoiler with an elegant curved blade on tall supports.
