YouTuber Ilya Strekal has posted a detailed side-by-side comparison between a Porsche Boxster stylized after the famous Ferrari 458 Italia and the real McCoy. Overall, one has to applaud the skill of the tuner.
We’re told that the work on the Boxster lasted over two years, resulting in a vehicle that looks very convincingly like an Italian sports car. The flatter body panels are especially well done, while the curves and the complex shapes are less convincing. Another direct hit comes in the form of the OEM headlights that slot in flawlessly into the hood. The brake lights could use some further retouching, however, at least in the area where cheap-looking plastic substitutes for carbon fiber.
The second video here shows the replica in a body painted yellow with a fully featured custom interior, and it is our favorite of the two as well. Good job, Ilya!
