Check out a stunning Ferrari watch worth 4 hypercars

Switzerland-based watchmaking company Richard Mille has unveiled the RM UP-01, a chronometer co-designed with Ferrari to become the world’s thinnest mechanical watch in history. At $1,888,000 USD and above, the timepiece costs as much as four SF90 Stradale hypercars in the United States.

The watch face is 1.75 millimeters thick, making it 0.05 mm thinner than the previous record holder, the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra. The mechanism also sets a world record being only 1.18 mm thick.

For the most part, the chronometer is made from a special titanium alloy that includes 6 percent aluminum and 4 percent vanadium. Despite its small size, the watch is highly resilient, withstanding loads up to 5000 g and submerging underwater up to 10 m.

Developing the exclusive timepiece took over 6,000 workhours. Only 150 will be made.
