The famous saying goes “leave well enough alone.” Looking at the new interior design of the Ferrari 488 Spider carried out by the famous car customization atelier Carlex Design makes you wonder if it still rings true. The already voluptuous passenger compartment of the original car has made way for something even more strikingly impressive.
Carlex Design admits with pride that the overhaul had to be done manually from the ground up and required an enormous investment of time and effort. The inside of the vehicle now looks like the premises of a particularly expensive Italian boutique – and somehow manages to appear sporty at the same time.
The dark shades of high-quality leather and Alcantara are juxtaposed against bright yellow stitching and decorative paneling of the same color. The carbon steering wheel is also clad in leather. The impression is that of seeing something impossible achieved: the already classical Ferrari 488 Spider made to look even more fantastic and genuine than ever before.
