Ferrari has held an official presentation event dedicated to the newest top-of-the-line Ferrari 488 model named Pista. The supercar will be available soon with prices starting at € 283,397.
The hood compartment of the glorious Ferrari 488 Pista contains a revised 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine now capable of 720 hp and 770 Nm of torque. As such, it is now the highest-performing vehicle of the Ferrari brand equipped with a V8.
Its dynamic performance figures are also quite impressive: the new Ferrari 488 Pista reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.85 seconds and effortlessly climbs all the way up to 340 km/h (211 mph).
Owing to the widespread use of state-of-the-art materials and automotive tech, Ferrari product engineers have managed to bring the weight of Pista down another 90 kg (200 lbs.) compared to the current 488 model. The vehicle rests on stylish 20-inch wheels and sports magnificent carbon-fiber interior trimming.
