The Prancing Horse has posted a 46-second-long video teaser with zero cars in it, but some sea water. It looks like the Italian luxury automaker wants to try its hand at yacht building.
The video puts an emphasis on the brand’s image and ideology. It mentions a ‘racing DNA’ and the ambition to ‘redefine the limits of possible’ aiming for new records. In the end, the company says it’s about to go looking for ‘new horizons’ and travel to places it had never been before. Then a vehicle part resembling a hydrofoil appears in the frame for a moment.
The whole thing is called ‘A New Ferrari Story’. As such, it appears likely that the company is working on a marine yacht for a change. Should it turn out to be the case, Ferrari will be far from the first luxury automaker to show interest in this market – Brabus, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Polestar have all done the same.
