Vandenbrink, a Netherlands-based coachbuilder and tuner, has unveiled a Shooting Brake version of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Building the custom GT took it ten years, but the outcome is truly unique.
As you probably know, the original Scaglietti offered precious little trunk space, and it felt decidedly cramped by grand tourer standards. This is why the first thing the tuner set out to do was expanding the rear end of the vehicle. This proved extremely challenging due to inherent chassis limitations, and this is why we only see it completed now, more than ten years after the initial sketches were published in 2009.
The Vandenbrink Shooting Brake also features a sloped roof with two sunshine windows for the rear passengers and a more spacious cabin with a luxury trim.
Powering the unique build is the standard 5.7-liter V12 engine rated at 540 hp (403 kW), sending the power to the rear wheels.
Vandenbrink accepts orders, but prices and terms are only available to interested clients.
