Many Ferrari connoisseurs tend to criticize the brand for expanding its product range at the expense of exclusivity, but the company still has the knack for producing coveted exotics. A single look at the Icona lineup should give you a good idea of what we mean.
Following in the tire tracks of the Monza SP1 and SP2, the gorgeous Daytona SP3 is the latest entry on the Icona family roster. The supercar made a live appearance at the Salon Privé London this weekend, so you can now have a close look at its exterior and listen to its mighty V12 rumble.
Ferrari says it had sold all 599 production units ahead of the official reveal. Each Daytona SP3 costs at least $2,250,000 and rocks an exterior inspired by famous racecars of the past. Its V12 commands around 840 PS (828 hp / 618 kW), taking the coupe from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.86 seconds.
