A precise lookalike of the Ferrari F40 that’s about one-third of its actual size will go on sale on August 19, 2022 expected to attract between $30,000 and $40,000.
Called the F-Racer Junior, it utilizes a kart chassis and maxes out at 40 miles per hour, or 64 km/h. It is only 2.6 meters long and weighs in at around 250 kilograms (550 pounds). The body has the same air intakes and rear wing as its source of inspiration, authentic-looking headlights and the F40’s signature blinds covering its engine bay. The roof panels are detachable.
The interior houses two seats wrapped in fabric and equipped with safety belts, as well as a full-fledged steering wheel and a functional dashboard.
A 270cc (16.5-ci) engine under the hood drives the wheels through a dual-range gearbox and a rear differential. The kart boasts per-wheel suspension with dampers and disc brakes all around.
