Carwow decided to compare two iconic supercars – a Ferrari F40 and a Bugatti EB110 – in a 402-meter straight-line acceleration race. Both drivers were visibly shy with the throttle and the gears, obviously afraid of breaking their priceless vehicles, but something still managed to go wrong.
The more exclusive EB110 had a decent start off the line but soon began making odd sounds and dropped out of the race. It looked like a driveshaft failure.
So as not to leave the F40 alone on the track, Watson brought a 1991 Dodge Viper for company and made a few more runs.
