A 2005 Ferrari F430 with only around 24,000 km (15,000 miles) of use on it has cropped up on sale in the United States sporting a wide number of modifications, notably including a transmission swap by EAG.
Novelty on the outside boils down to individual aftermarket body kit parts and a set of Finspeed F40 wheels installed in 19 inches front and 20 inches rear. The brass-tinted rims sport a dual-five-spoke pattern and fit snugly in their arches thanks to lowered suspension.
Where things get truly interesting is under the hood. The stock 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 gets ceramic-coated headers, a Novitec exhaust system and a carbon air intake, resulting in increased power and torque. To top things off, the transmission tasked with delivering these to the wheels is no longer sequential semi-automatic, but gated six-speed manual – the owner ordered the unique conversion at a Texas-based tuning shop named EAG.
