Ferrari SP-8 bows in Taiwan with no roof, F40-style wheels

The special project division of Ferrari has just finished work on another unique car: SP-8, a custom order from a client in Taiwan. It is an F8 Spider with its power-assisted top removed for a genuine roadster look.

The vehicle comes finished in a matte shade of silver called Argento Micalizzato, offset by deep blue accents. It has brand-new headlights and Roma-style taillights with custom lenses inside. The company points out that the windshield and the exhaust finishers come from the 296 GTB. The broad, retro-inspired radiator grille has been 3D-printed into existence.

Completing the retro look is a set of five-spoke alloy wheels finished in matter grey. Ferrari made them look like a modern take on the classical F40.

Things stay stock under the hood.
