Ferrari sold record-breaking 11,115 cars last years, boosting V8 model sales by 34.6% and selling more F8 Tributo and Spider models in Europe than any other model. However, according to Automotive News Europe quoting the CEO of the automaker, neither is available to order anymore.
While there has been no official announcement at this time, Ferrari CEO let it slip last year that the company had “the largest order portfolio in history” that it hoped to process “until 2023”. With this in mind, the F8 Tributo dropping out of ordering lists could be a temporary measure.
Market observers believe that the F8 will eventually have to be replaced by a V6-based PHEV model, as even Ferrari has to abide by the ever-stricter emission standards.
