The Italian company Ferrari
has decided to release another copy of the super hybrid LaFerrari Aperta, which
will receive a unique livery. The car will be sold by auction at the RM
Sotheby's home, and all proceeds will be directed to charitable purposes.
The event will take place on
September 9 – the day of the seventieth anniversary of the brand Ferrari. For
an additional, 210th roadster LaFerrari Aperta, plan to raise from 3 to 4
million euros. Initially, the circulation of the open two-door was limited to
209 units and was sold instantly.
Last year, Ferrari released
the 500th LaFerrari coupe, too, for sale from the auction. For reference, there
were released only 499 copies of the closed model. At the auction, for an
additional copy of the supercar, managed to get $ 7 million. All the proceeds
were directed to the victims of the earthquake in central Italy, which happened in
last summer.
Under the hood of both
models is a 6.3-liter V12 engine, an electric unit and a set of lithium-ion
batteries, which work together with a seven-band robotic transmission with two
clutches. In total, the hybrid plant produces 963 horsepower. The maximum speed
of the Ferrari LaFerrari is 350 km/h, and acceleration to the first
"hundred" takes 3 seconds.
