Ferrari LaFerrari successor nabbed testing with a massive rear wing

Once in every ten years or so, Ferrari introduces a new hypercar to the world which it presents as the very definition of technological perfection. Examples include the F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari, as well as (probably) the mysterious test car in this video.

There is no mistaking a Ferrari here: the front bumper is divided in three large sections, the hood is rather sharply sloped forward, and the wheel arches are bloated so much as to accommodate some of the widest tires there are. A part of the air duct redirecting the airflow to the windshield appears to be visible, too.

The rear view is dominated by a giant wing. Judging by the size of the interior, it is a two-seater at most. Other notable features include two exhaust pipes exiting rather high up at the back, a bulky rear diffuser and a sticker denoting a hybrid drivetrain.

Rumor has it Ferrari’s newest hypercar is slated to arrive in October 2024 limited to 599 production units.
