Barrett-Jackson will be holding an auction on January 27, 2024 dedicated to one out of 499 Ferrari LaFerrari hypercars in existence. The part-electric coupe currently belongs to Sammy Hagar, ex-Van Halen lead singer and member of the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame.
Hagar purchased his hypercar in 2015 and has since put only 1,770 km (1,100 miles) on it. The car retains its original creamy white exterior and cabin with black accents for contrast.
Commenting on the sale, Hagar said the LaFerrari was his favorite car of all time, but he felt it was time for it to move on and find a new owner. He added that he would be present in person at the auction.
Powering the Italian exotic is a naturally aspirated V12 assisted by electric motors for 963 PS (950 hp / 708 kW). The launch time is under three seconds.
