The part-electric Ferrari LaFerrari went out of production seven years ago, but you can still source the required OEM parts for repairs, Motor1 reports after conducting a little investigation. Apparently, the Maranello HQ will even fully rebuild your supercar after a big incident – but you’d better set aside a small fortune and a half.
Judging by the manufacturer’s Scuderia Car Parts catalog, a new monocoque will cost you the equivalent of U.S. $1.07 million. Back when it was new, the LaFerrari cost around $1.4 million. That said, well-kept examples come close to $4 million at auctions nowadays.
Replacing a roof will lighten your bank account by a further $140,600. The front subframe alone costs $12,600, but you will need 14 custom-fabricated titanium bolts for the installation, priced at $71 a pop.
Only 499 LaFerrari units came out in the main production run. A 500th example rolled off the band in 2016. A massive earthquake shook Italy that year, and Ferrari decided to put the car up on a charity auction. It ended up selling for $7 million, five times the initial price.
