7-year-old, virtually unused Ferrari LaFerrari going on sale in Europe

One out of 500 Ferrari LaFerrari coupes with just 14 km (8.7 miles) under its belt will cross the auction block in Paris, France in late January, expected to bring home between 3.7 and 4.8 million euros.

Back when it designed its flagship, the Maranello HQ decided to give it a special monocoque that was 20% lighter than that of the legendary Enzo model but at the same time 27% stiffer. The new powertrain incorporated a 6.3-liter V12 with 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and a system known as KERS, which had previously only been used in Formula 1 racers.

As a result, the LaFerrari commanded a combined 963 PS (950 hp / 708 kW) and could sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.6 seconds. The top speed was also impressive at 352 km/h, or 218 mph.

The company had originally planned to make 499 units, but later churned out the 500th car to sell at a charity auction held for the victims of a strong earthquake that shook Italy in the mid-2010s.

The LaFerrari on sale is seven years old and optioned in white with a black Alcantara interior and red accents. Its owner had always kept it as a museum exhibit and only commissioned it for road use a few years after purchasing. It still had just 9 km (5.6 miles) on the odo by November 2021. Despite that, the supercar has enjoyed regular and thorough maintenance at official dealerships throughout these years.
