Watch retired F1 champion Nico Rosberg do a perfect corner at the Fiorano circuit, reclining behind the steering wheel of a unique Ferrari Monza SP1.
The 2016 Formula One winner has recently paid a visit to the headquarters of the legendary Italian supercar marque. He witnessed the 488 Pista being assembled and visited the Scuderia Ferrari Museum, where he enjoyed walking among classical sports cars, F1 racers and insane experimental hypercars. After the trip was over, he went on to the Fiorano circuit for a drift lap.
Ferrari unveiled its Monza SP1 and SP2 speedsters in September 2018, both based on the 812 Superfast chassis and its V12 6.5 engine rated north of 800 hp (600 kW). With a monster unit like this under the hood, the standard sprint is a matter of 2.9 seconds. Both cars cost €1.7 million and are road-legal despite exterior styling taking us back to the racecars of the mid-20th century.
