The Prancing Horse is getting ready to reveal its first SUV in history – the Purosangue – even though it insists on calling it something else. The vehicle has recently been sighted on the Fiorano Circuit still wearing its temporary Maserati Levante body.
The spy video follows the car as it cruises at lower speeds and tries passing sharp curves in a manner befitting a supercar.
It is official that the Purosangue will pack a V12 mounted behind the front axle and a dual-clutch automatic transmission at the rear axle. It will drive all four wheels by default and, according to Ferrari, may eventually receive a hybrid version, although this is not a granted. A spacious and ergonomic cabin is also on the promised features list next to a roomy trunk and air-ride suspension.
