You’d think the Italian automaker would drop the act after having photos of its forthcoming Purosangue SUV leak online, but it seems determined to keep the charade. Ferrari’s first off-roader in history has been recently spotted in Europe wearing so much fake cladding, it looked almost like the 250 GT SWB Breadvan (further down the gallery here).
You can discern rather large tailpipes and a ground clearance barely greater than that of a light passenger car. Moreover, the whole thing looks more like a high-riding hatchback than an SUV.
Ferrari says the model takes advantage of a new front-engined architecture and is simultaneously affordable, comfortable and as powerful as viable.
The official premiere should take place later this year.
