Someone in Japan is selling a Ferrari Purosangue waiting slot for €0.5M

A dealership in Tokyo is asking €500,000 for the priority right to buy one of Ferrari Purosangue SUVs revealed mere days ago. It is unclear whether the car, rumored to start around €400,000, is even included in the deal.

In fact, the listing doesn’t mention anything but the estimated delivery date (Q2 2023). Since the production hasn’t even started yet, whoever buys the car will probably be able to talk to Ferrari and have it customized to taste.

The Drive reports that Ferrari may soon stop taking pre-orders. According to Sales Director Enrico Galliera, the demand is simply too high, while the company is in no position to produce more than 3,000 SUVs per year.

Maranello’s very first SUV comes with doors that swing open like wings, a four-seat cabin and a new aluminum platform. A 6.5-liter V12 drives both axles with 725 PS (715 hp / 533 kW) through an eight-speed DCT.
