Ferrari has published a brief report summarizing its performance in 2022. The last year proved to be the most financially successful for the Maranello HQ so far.
As opposed to just 11,155 cars sold in 2021, the Italian supercar maker managed to find buyers for 13,221 vehicles last year. Europe, Africa and Middle East proved the most lucrative markets with nearly 6,000 sales in these regions combined. China trailed behind, but showed the highest year-on-year sales growth at 73 percent.
Overall, the company received in excess of €5 billion of income, a 20% increase over 2021. The net profit amounted to €939 million, up from the preceding year’s €833 million.
The automaker never specified which models turned out the most profitable, but we would imagine the Purosangue SUV (shown in the gallery below) being either the most popular or very close. In the fall of 2022, Ferrari had to put new reservations on hold because the luxury crossover had been pre-sold for a few years in advance.
